in Checking In, Travels

Home

I got back this afternoon from my Chicago trip. Things went very smoothly, too. Brent and I took the Orange Line train to Midway and got to our gate with plenty of time to spare. Got off the plane and Kelly and the kids greeted me at the curb. It couldn’t have been any smoother.

I really like Southwest’s new boarding procedure, too. No more cattle call! I found it easy to understand even for my first time.

Southwest’s added some nice improvements to its terminal area in RDU, too. with a set of plush leather seats that have built-in power outlets (both AC power and USB charging ports). I think they’re the nicest at the airport. Touches like these are relatively easy to do and make flying Southwest more attractive to coveted business travelers. Nice job, Southwest!
