Dinner Or Sleep?

Its now past 9:30 and I can finally get dinner. It was a busy day at work, followed by an appointment with a landscaper providing us an estimate to fill our sinkhole in the backyard.

After that, I rushed off to the neighborhood homeowners association meeting to see what’s up. This was followed by a nice call from an old friend.

Man, life just doesn’t slow down, does it?

  1. Apparently, as the new editor of the (prestigious and esteemed) WF Newsletter, I was (expected?) invited to come. I realize all WF-ers are invited, but it doesn’t seem like anything I would ever do. Anyway, I am still dying of the flu so I wasn’t going anywhere, anyway. What happens at those meetings? Are they interesting at all?

How close is your backyard from the tracks? Trey has been escaping my germs and general whining by taking long walks around the neighborhood as opposed to the “easement” trail thing. Anyway, he said he thought it looked like the train tracks missed the backyards of some of the Hobhouse houses on the opposite side from us by *this* much.
