Since my blog posting about the Beltline graffiti attracted so much attention, I thought it only right that I publicly thank the N.C. DOT for being on the case. I sent this email to them this past Thursday:

So it looks like inmates will be scrubbing graffiti off the walls after all. I hope the taggers take note that the paint they’re spraying today might be the the paint they’re cleaning off tomorrow. Thanks for the fast work, NCDOT!
