Its been a busy weekend here at MT.Net. We had “family movie night” Friday evening when we watched a DVD of Lady and the Tramp. Saturday was still cold, but I wouldn’t know. I spent most of the day inside the attic pounding away at some new flooring I’ve been building.
Saturday night, Kelly and I watched Sophie Scholl – The Final Days from our NetFlix list. The movie chronicled the last days of Scholl – a 21-year-old anti-Nazi resister. Wow, Scholl and her brother were brave souls!
I made breakfast for the family and took the kids to the hardware store while Kelly got some editing work done. Then we had lunch and later naps (at least I did), before Kelly’s mom arrived for a visit. It had warmed up considerably by then so we spent a good portion of the afternoon and evening playing with a yard full of neighborhood kids. Then it was Indian food for dinner before calling it a day.
I’m sore from all my construction duties but its good to get it done. I’ve doubled the storage space there with the new addition. What was 42 square feet of flooring became 98 square feet. That should hold us for a little while.
Hard to believe tomorrow is a work day. I keep thinking I’ve got one more day to devote to my projects. Never enough time, eh?
